Currently a research intern at Compiler and Microarchitecture Lab at Korea Univ., under Prof. Kim Seon Wook,

I took part in a couple of AI projects in Korea Univ. EE Programming Club OneAndZero, where I was the 31st club president.

There projects include:

  • Style Transfer (Computer Vision)
  • Text-based Poem Reading Synthesis (Voice)
  • Children’s book illustration generation with text-to-image synthesis (image-text multimodal)

After these projects, I took Computer Architecture, Operating System, Compiler, and VLSI courses in my 3rd&4th year. During which I felt huge interest in the hardware and software inner workings of Deep Learning workload.

Starting with my undergrad thesis, I seek to break down DL tasks, spot speedup opportunities, and accelerate them.

Currently studying the ‘accelerating’ part, wrestling with Xilinx FPGAs.

at the same time applying for graduate school over at US these days.
